Courage

How would you define courage?  Is courage something you find within yourself or something others try to help you seek?  Personally, I think it is something that others have to encourage you to discover and when you do you then begin to find it in yourself.  But just how long does that take?

10 days ago, Kole had to search for COURAGE.  If at first you don't succeed, try and try again.  The third time might be a charm, but you have to find the courage to give it a try.  Kole probably would have called me the COURAGE NAZI if he would've thought about it!  But courage paid off for him!

And now, someone else very dear to me I hope finds COURAGE to have a difficult conversation with someone important in their life.  I know how difficult the conversation would be, but it is time to get some answers and not keep on wondering.  It could be painful and I think that's why the conversation maybe doesn't want to happen, but on the other hand, the conversation may go another direction!  Regardless, COURAGE must be felt to have that conversation.  The best part of COURAGE is that we are never alone!

For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. (Isaiah 41:13)

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6)
