We were able to celebrate Easter at our church's new property this morning. The kids had to be there at 5:45. Kevin and I got there a little before 6:30--we are talking AM! There were lots more people there than planned, as usually it's just the youth parents. Kole was the greeter and took the offering. Ky led the opening prayer and read scripture. Although it was foggy, by 7:00 when the service ended, it was still a great sunrise service!
Kevin and I then ran to Kroger quick to get some things for lunch with the Mohnings. By the time we got home the kids had already "found" their hidden gifts, but were pretending they didn't. They then did the real hunt and Ky was finished much quicker than Kole, as they realized they hadn't pre-found everything.
Everyone is "chilling" now. It may be a morning nap day before lunch at 1:30. Hope the Easter Bunny is good to everyone!
