Way Too Quiet

10 days since I last submitted a post??? BAD!!!

It's a Friday night and I find the house way too quiet. Ky is off to Relay for Life--she has been working so hard on this for the past 6 weeks. I am so proud of all that she's done and I can tell this has impacted her life in a BIG way. I just hope that the big storms that are to come through at 3:00 AM find a different path to take. She knows to shelter in her truck if the weather gets bad.

Kev and Kole are at a Cy-Falls baseball game. Kev was throwing out the first pitch at tonight's game. The high school was recognizing future ball players of the high school, so Kevin was there with his Aragon students who are hoping to make the Falls baseball team. He said his pitch wasn't a strike, rather a little high. Oh well.

All 3 must be having fun, as I haven't heard a word from any of them! So, what to do?

Laundry--almost done! This week's grad assignment has been submitted. Next week's lecture has been viewed and readings are done. Part of the assignment is also done!Glass of wine--done! (Yes, how many of you could attend grad school and drink wine at the same time!? Oh, the perks!)

But as I sit here, I hear the clock ticking. I can't think of the last time the house was this quiet--way too quiet! It makes me sad to think in a few years the "way too quiet" house will become more of a norm.

Unfortunately with everything going on with grad school and family events, I haven't had a chance to watch Colton and Avery play ball this season. Weather permitting, I hope to catch Avery's game in the AM, when the house will again be really quiet because everyone else will be sleeping!
