OK, I've Got To Do Better!

OMG! I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted anything. Where do I begin?

First, it seems like I've been reading more blogs than posting. I've been following the heart-wrenching story of Layla Grace. I've been reading about the ups and downs of Katrina. Kylie seems to always enter novels, but thoroughly enjoy reading her words!

Second, it seems I've been very pre-occupied with TYES! The events of the last 2 months have consumed the team. I've spent the last 3 weeks at the pool nearly every night. Just when we seem to be moving along, an obstacle jumps in our path. However, the 4 of us who are doing all the "behind the scenes" work right now make everything look great for the members. So, I guess we are doing the right thing.

Third, grad school has moments of heavy assignments and other weeks of minimal assignments. Still learning a lot, but getting harder to balance it all! After this class I'll take one more in April/May and then take my last 2 classes together in June! YAHOO!!!

Fourth, I'm taking an ESL certification course through the district. Thoroughly enjoying it. There are only 7 of us in the course from PK-high school, so it's quite interesting.

Fifth, and then there's all the drama about who will have the same jobs next year. It appears my job is safe, just trying to decide if I can stick it out one more year or if I need to make a change.

Sixth, so glad Kev's not coaching after school right now, because he's been a big help! He helps Kole study for his Spanish and they are busy practicing baseball every day. All their hard work is showing!
