No, you're right, I'm nowhere near my sweet 16th bday! And...Ky's sweet 16th year is almost over also..HOWEVER...UNI's sweet 16 is just beginning!
After being down here for 22 years, one thing we learned very quickly is that you are either a Longhorn or Aggie and nothing else really matters. College affiliation is very big in Texas, of course, everything is BIG in Texas.
So, tonight when watching UNI Men's basketball on the computer (since TV coverage was on Baylor) all of our purple pride came out! Even the kids went and put on purple garb to support the panthers! What an exciting win!
So now, when people ask me what I am, I can proudly state a UNI Panther and shouldn't get many responses as to who that is. By now, nearly everyone has heard of UNI! UNI broke everyone's basketball brackets.
