What are the chances that I get a jury summons AGAIN!!! It was just last year that I served on a jury, yet today I get a jury summons for the United States District Jury. I will be "on-call" the week of February 8 and will have to call in each night the day before to see if need to report. There is NO option to reschedule, unlike the county courts.
I do love to debate, so maybe my path was destined to be a lawyer rather than an educator. How different would my life be if that was the path I had chosen--$ not an issue, ride metro to work, sleep even less that I do now, and never see my family--I'll stick with education!
