Today was a day to play. After getting up and going to the middle church service, we ran to Walmart quick for a few things, mostly to get necessary ingredients for MYF (youth group) dinner. Going to Walmart on a weekend is something I try to avoid at all costs, but on a Sunday before noon it's not too bad. We were helping serve tacos for 50, so we brought 100 taco shells, cheese, and chocolate chip cookies. The KJ taste testers were disappointed I didn't need their help in the kitchen!
At MYF the tacos were a hit. There were only 30-35 there tonight, I guess due to the 3-day weekend. Kylie and Kole had warned us DON'T PUT THE COOKIES OUT UNTIL THE MAIN MEAL IS OVER! Gee, were they right! It made me wonder how many of these kids rarely get homemade cookies.
When I finished baking cookies, Ky and I were playing around with making some videos. Kylie's is much more "fun" to listen to and is the relay that happened at her last swim meet on January 10. Ky's video can be found by clicking on Ky's video which is the hyperlink.
Below is the edited version of the video I made of Kole's most recent (1.14.10) basketball game where he scored 5 points. Hope you enjoy both!
