What are you in pursuit of, and what vehicle are you driving to pursue it with? I think it is important, first to look at what we are pursuing. Are you chasing something that you can never catch? Second, what are you pursuing with? So many people pursue happiness in their lives and never catch it because they use the wrong vehicle, they think happiness is a result of things, a new car, a new boat, more money, but that is not the answer. You have to find happiness within yourself, and God can help you do that. Pursue Him and it will all work out. Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you. So, first, be in pursuit of God, second, pursue with yourself. Whatever state you are in, if you are happy, sad, lonely, depressed, it doesn't matter, that is the vehicle you pursue in, and God will change your life. Try it, if you truly are in pursuit of God, you will "catch" him.
~OK. This was a tough one for me. I guess I feel like I'm always chasing, but not necessarily pursuing. So the above was written by someone who had responded to this word. I totally believe it and need to remember to pursue, not chase! I know I have caught God, but I often fail to take time to stop and listen.
